    A community event for Shambhala members and newcomers—please invite your friends!

    Every Thursday, a Shambhala teacher leads guided meditation practice followed by a discussion on dharma and mindfulness. Afterwards, everyone is invited to gather in our community area for tea and socializing.

    Join us each week for a delightful evening of practice, conversation, and tea.

    Thursdays from 7-9pm. Open and free for everyone.

    8:30-9:00  Tea & Social

    This week's session is hosted by Tamara Bouret.

    Tamara BouretTamara Bouret has been a member of the Washington, DC Shambhala community since 2001. Currently she is Head, Meditation Instructor at the DC Center and is also a Buddhist Studies teacher and Assistant Director of Shambhala Training. Tamara has participated in annual meditation retreats with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche since 2005. Tamara recently moved on from a 20 year career in Human Resources. She is currently a Health and Wellness Coach with an MA and certification in Wellness and Integrated Health. Her specialty is in nutrition.
